A.F.D MEETING RECAP (9/9/2022)
AFD (Associate Forum with Directors) started with our Director Mr. Emmanuel asking about what is happening in the global world in which the reply was the Queen of England's death . He asked about why it is a prominent news affecting the global world and that is because the Queen was relevant and because of the role she had played in history in her lifetime.
Sentinel is an organization so committed with what we do. Every season and decision in Sentinel comes with its uniqueness and for things to change, people have to take advantage to the opportunities provided to justify why they are here.
SECTION 1: DISCUSSION.
This section was an interactive one where Dir. Emma talked about the phase we are in business where there are things we need to look at and plan critical based on feedback and experience as we move to set up and step up things.He said majority of the people who approach Sentinel to buy from us do so because they trust us that their land will be there.They are concerned about security and not development and it is a marketing tool for us to harness as people want to invest in land for it to appreciate; most clients are into land banking. Know what works in your environment and use it to your advantage.
With that being said, he ask associates whom from their engagement with their prospects the locations Sentinel currently has now:
- which one people are more interested in.
- Why are they buying?
- Why do you think they will buy more
To this, some associates called out Festac, Ibeju lekki and Okemoro as the locations we have that clients are interested in.
Then, Dir. Emma asked which locations we do not have that prospects are also interested in and there were mentions of Iyana isashi, Abule Ado (Lagos state), Agbo( Delta state),Umuahia and Aba ( Abia State), Oba, Orlu and Nnewi North ( Anambra state)
SECTION 2: Branch Associates review
The branch associate structure is proactive and effective. With this, the management has come up with reviews that will enhance what we do in the branches. So henceforth, every branch will have:
- Monthly financial allocation of N50,000 going forward for their activities to support movement and other logistics which is subject to review.
- Every branch should have their activities, target and plans for the month submitted to help management share their experience and follow up on the the things done.
- Branch report must be submitted every month so the management knows what has been done and where to come in and help.
- Monthly incentives a branch based on a certain percentage of the agreed sake target per month still continues aside the N50k support. Branch manager should take note.
SECTION 3 Takeaway on the 3 principles you don't joke with if you hope to continue in this business.
- PARACHUTE PRINCIPLES: This principle obeys the law of individualism. Much as it offers some advantages, you need to avoid because it is not what you need in this business.This is a business of the people and in this business,you need to engage (network).
- CONVERGENCE PRINCIPLE: This is a principles that address competition.It promotes the law of partnership.It is an antidote of unity and supports the scripture that says one will chase a thousand and two will chase ten thousand."If you want to go far,you go with people.
- MENTORSHIP PRINCIPLE: There is a saying that if you want to see far, you have to stand on the shoulder of those who are going to where you want to go. You need useful information that can help you and someone who understands where you are going,can query your performance and push you to where you are going. If nobody is overseeing what you are doing , checking your performance and checkmating your action, you won't go far. Accountability is very important and is a point of mentorship where you are willing to discuss and share idea on what is going on in your life and business.
SECTION 4: Announcement
- Hot sales has ended technically.
- Looking at the way we come to meetings, those who understand time management will enjoy themselves. Going forward there is development called BMS special treat for the first 20 people. We should ensure to be punctual to meetings.
- For AFD, we are also introducing what we call AFD candy and capture strictly going to be done with the Directors starting from next week. Time is 10:30am - 11am.
- Schedule has been planned for SCREP market storming. Everything we plan is for the associates and to ease stress. So Take note of the updates:
- There won't be BMS on Monday.We need to utilize time and hit the market for storming. Branch managers will brief their members on the meeting they have with the Admin. Please relate with your managers for details on your meeting point for the storming and any other update.
- Flyer has been share already for the storming on Monday so hit the market immediately from your homes. On Tuesday, at your strategic meeting point, someone will be appointed to bring flyers for the day's storming.
- General site inspection which was initially scheduled for 17th has been rescheduled to 23rd of September, time is 7am on dot and meeting point is Sentinel corporate office. We would be inspecting Mowe ofada and Shimawa.
- What is expected of you is that you come early , prepare yourself to take good videos and take note of the landmark and notable place on the journey down to the site that you can use to sell the place to your prospects and lastly, start sending the contact information ( Phone number) of your prospects who are interested and want to come for the site inspection to the admin on 08057422322 so we can have a comprehensive data of the number of people we are making arrangements for and will need to follow up on.
- Also start sending in the contact number of your invited prospects and Clients for SCREP SUMMIT 2.0 for follow up.
